Robin Niclasen, Heather Perry, Colee Ueland, Pacific Lutheran University, eMarketing blog, personal branding blog



Heather, a senior communication major with an emphasis in journalism and a business administration minor, is from Puyallup, WA. At PLU, she is a journalism producer at MediaLab, where she served as co-director and senior producer on the 2013 "Beyond Burkas and Bombers" documentary; president of photography club; and a photographer for the athletic department. Previously, she was the editor-in-chief of The Mooring Mast, the student-run weekly newspaper, and president of the PLU Society of Professional Journalists chapter, which won regional campus chapter of the year under her leadership. She also runs her own Pierce County photography business, Heather Perry Photography. Heather has interned in the photo department at The News Tribune; as a reporter and photographer for The Peninsula Gateway and The Puyallup Herald after earning a 2012 Washington Newspaper Publishers Association Scholarship Award; as the communication intern at Rainier View Christian Church; and with Women of Vision, a ministry of World Vision. Robin is a 24-year-old international student from Denmark. He is studying Business Administration and will graduate this spring as well. Before coming to Pacific Lutheran University, he studied two years at Copenhagen Business College in Denmark, where he graduated with an AP degree in marketing management. The last six months before coming to the U.S., he worked as an marketing intern at Explorius Denmark, where he helped promote their two new products: a college program and a volunteer work program. After graduation, he will return to Denmark to get a Master's of Science in Economics and Business Administration with concentration in Strategic Market Value. His career goal is to work as marketing manager at a large company, whether in the United States or Denmark.


Nicole “Colee” Ueland is a senior at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. She is a Communication major with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising and is earning a minor in Business Administration. Her passion is working in social media. On campus, Colee is on the Relay for Life planning committee, the PLU Ultimate Frisbee team and is a part of the School of Arts and Communication Student Advisory Board for the Dean. Outside of PLU, Colee has worked at REI, first in Seattle and most recently in Tacoma, for almost three years. She was a marketing intern at Franke Tobey Jones. While there she maintained their Facebook page from March to December 2012. After the internship ended, she was hired on as a Social Media Consultant where she created and launched their blog 4 Seasons of Life.
